Job Title: Software Development Associate

Location: Douala, Yaoundé and Buea

Position Description: We are looking to hire up to 3 strong candidates to join our software development team. The desired candidates will have a strong interest in software development and possibly health care informatics. These 3 candidates will also have the privilege to be part of our legacy team in Cameroon, hence they will stand to benefit a lot as our startup develops into a full-blown health care technology firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø  Researching, designing, implementing EMR capabilities

Ø  Testing and evaluating tools

Ø  Identifying areas for modification in existing medical forms and subsequently developing these modifications

Ø  Writing and implementing efficient code

Ø  Determining operational practicality of our EMR tools in the Cameroonian health system

Ø  Developing quality assurance procedures

Ø  Deploying software tools, processes and metrics

Ø  Maintaining and upgrading existing extensions

Ø  Working closely with other developers, UX designers, hospitals and systems analysts

Position Requirements:

Ø  Strong record of academic achievement

Ø  At least two years of University Studies in any IT related field

Ø  Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies

Ø  Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ø  The ability to learn new technologies quickly

Ø  The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues

Ø  Data analysis experience

Ø  Demonstrated interest in Health information technology, IT is an asset

Ø  Demonstrated knowledge and interested of any of the following programing languages will be considered a great asset:
