Innovation Based on Skilled Resources  

Our production process is automatically controlled from a center. The raw materials include clinker, pozzolana, and gypsum. The granulated cement is sent to a laboratory to check the fineness and residue separation, and the lab also ensures the quality of the chemical components of the cement. With our latest generation technologies, our processes are approved as the best in the country. Human resources support our success. In Cameroon, Dangote cement employs more than 700 people (98% nationals and 2% foreigners). We are continually working to apply modern and professional managerial methods to achieve the synergy of teams that produce the best products.

Performance at the Core of Operations

With the most modern cement factory in Cameroon, Dangote offers more productivity on construction sites. A commercial park of several hundred delivery trucks covers the entire territory. Direct delivery to significant sites is available thanks to a fleet of bulk carriers. Each bulk carrier has a tank that can hold 30 tonnes of loose cement. The high volume supplying throughout the national territory allows Dangote Cement Cameroon to respond effectively to the increasing demand for our cement, which is of excellent quality and accessible at an affordable cost.

An Effective Presence in Cameroon

Dangote Cement Cameroon launched its activities in March 2015 with the Douala factory that has a current production capacity of 1.5 tonnes per year. Today the company covers the four corners of the country. The factory under construction in Yaoundé-Nomayos will offer the same production capacity. Thus, Dangote Cement Cameroon will double its production capacity to make Cameroon a self-sufficient country in cement.

Dangote Cement Cameroun

A part of Dangote Cement Group,was commissioned on the 27th August 2015 in Douala, as the first new entrant in Cameroon’s cement market in 40 years. It is a 1.5Mta cement grinding facility, with a dedicated jetty for offloading clinker directly to the plant in Douala. DCC is the leader in the cement market in Cameroon and can boast of being the first to introduce the 3X 42,5R Grade Cement in the country, with its threefold specifications: Extra Life, Extra Yield and Extra Strong.
