Our main goal is to fight illiteracy, which is a plague in developing countries, by improving existing educational infrastructure and by empowering teachers to inspire lifelong learning, advance knowledge, and thus strengthen communities.

Building a Path to Clean Water: Empowering Education in Cameroon

For the academic year 2023-2024, the Technical High School of Dschang in Cameroon opens its doors to three thousand sixty-four students and two hundred dedicated administrative and teaching staff, committed to their support and education.

Among the challenges the school community faces, the primary obstacle is the lack of access to clean water. In a region plagued by waterborne diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, and dysentery, this issue poses a grave threat to the health and well-being of students and staff alike. The absence of water distribution facilities from the nearby national water company exacerbates the situation. Furthermore, the school’s location atop a hill adds to the difficulty of transporting water. Without an adequate supply of safe and potable water, the journey of learning and growth becomes an uphill battle.

We are seeking your generous support to fund the construction of a well. This vital project will provide the Technical High School of Dschang access to clean and safe drinking water, meeting the minimum hygiene standards advocated by the country’s health authorities.
