Eiffel Excellence Scholarship 2022-2023 at the University of Lille

Deadline: November 12, 2021.

Every year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offers the Eiffel Excellence Grants.

This scheme, aimed at international students, allows for the financing of either a Master's degree (1 or 2) or a 12-month mobility in the context of a co-supervision or co-direction of a thesis (preferably in the 2nd or 3rd year of the Doctorate).

Fields of study

The eligible fields of study are:

  • Law
  • Economics and management
  • Exact sciences
  • Engineering Sciences
  • Political Science.

Application file

To process your application for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship, you must first be pre-admitted to the course of study at the University of Lille that you wish to enrol in. To do this, consult our catalogue of courses and contact the person in charge of the course you are considering.

The submission of an application for the Eiffel scholarship is subject to the assessment of the head of the master's or doctoral programme. If the latter considers your application to be valid, he/she must write a recommendation. On the other hand, if the supervisor considers that you do not have the prerequisites to enter the course (according to the documents you have provided), the procedure stops and you will not be able to submit an application.

Please contact the person in charge of the Master's or PhD programme to which you wish to apply by sending him/her all the required documents by e-mail. If the teacher in charge of the Master or PhD programme decides to pre-admit you to the programme you wish to apply for and to support your application for the EIFFEL scholarship, a selection will be made on the basis of the excellence of the projects, and you will then be informed of the outcome of your application. If your application is successful, you will then be asked to fill in a detailed file concerning your CV and your training project. For further information, please visit the Campus France page dedicated to the Eiffel programme.
